Club Med Turkoise sits directly on Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos — a beach that regularly tops 'best in the world' rankings, and the consistency of the sand and water quality here is not hype. The resort has been on Grace Bay since 1984 and underwent a significant renovation in 2018 that added an infinity pool, redesigned the rooms, and built a new main bar. The beach access and activity programming remain the strongest arguments for choosing this property.
This resort is built around beach and water sports, not luxury rooms. Approximately 290 rooms are distributed across low-rise two- and three-story buildings — functional and reasonably modern after the 2018 renovation, but not opulent. Guests who arrive expecting room quality to match the beach quality are consistently disappointed. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works, but the rooms are not the reason to book Turkoise. The beach, the sailing, the snorkeling, and the overall volume of included water sports activities are.
The honest constraint is value calibration. Turks and Caicos is one of the most expensive Caribbean destinations, and Turkoise is priced accordingly. For guests comparing it to luxury boutique hotels on Grace Bay at similar rates — COMO Parrot Cay, Grace Bay Club — the room product and service density don't compete. The all-inclusive model makes sense here if you're going to use the sports programming extensively; if you plan to spend the week exploring restaurants in Providenciales town or want a high-touch boutique experience, look elsewhere.
Practically: 290–292 rooms, 4-Trident rating, adults-only (18+). Providenciales International Airport (PLS) is 11–13 km away, a 15–20 minute drive. No kids' clubs, no family programming — strictly adult. The extensive included sports list (sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, tennis, yoga) makes this one of the better value propositions in the Club Med portfolio for active guests. Snorkeling directly off the beach gives access to living coral reef.
