Hyatt is planting a flag on one of the most famous beaches in the world. The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay is now expected to open in October 2026, marking the brand's first Andaz property anywhere in the Caribbean.

The boutique-scale resort will sit on 5.5 acres of prime beachfront along Grace Bay Beach — consistently ranked among the top beaches on the planet. The property will feature just 59 hotel rooms alongside 74 branded residences available for purchase, making it one of the more intimate luxury openings in the region this year.

Guests will have access to three restaurants and bars, a full-service spa, fitness center, kids' club, and a pickleball court. The location also offers direct access to Bight Reef, one of the best snorkeling spots in Providenciales, adding a natural-adventure element that most Grace Bay properties can't match.

For the Hyatt loyalty ecosystem, this is a significant addition. Turks and Caicos has long been one of the hardest Caribbean destinations to book on points, with very few major chain-affiliated hotels on the island. The Andaz could quickly become one of the most in-demand World of Hyatt redemptions in the region.

The opening has shifted from earlier timelines — it was initially expected in the first half of 2026 — but October puts it right at the start of the Caribbean's peak travel season. With the island investing heavily in expanding its overnight resort capacity beyond its traditional role as a cruise port stop, the Andaz arrival signals that the luxury segment sees real long-term potential in Turks and Caicos.
