Hyatt's lifestyle boutique brand Andaz is making its Caribbean debut this month with the opening of Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay. The 59-room resort sits on 5.5 acres of beachfront along Grace Bay — consistently ranked among the world's best beaches — and marks the first Hyatt-branded hotel anywhere in Turks and Caicos.

The property is deliberately small-scale compared to the mega-resorts dominating new openings elsewhere in the Caribbean. Beyond the 59 hotel rooms, the development includes 74 branded residences available for purchase, blending a resort experience with a residential real estate component.

Amenities and Dining

The resort will feature three restaurants and bars, including an elevated rooftop venue with panoramic ocean views. Additional amenities include a full-service indoor/outdoor spa with cold plunge pools, a fitness center, a garden yoga studio, tennis and pickleball courts, and a kids' club.

The Andaz brand is known for weaving local culture into every property's design and programming, so expect the Turks & Caicos outpost to lean heavily into island aesthetics and Caribbean culinary influences rather than a cookie-cutter luxury template.

Within the World of Hyatt loyalty program, the property is expected to land as a Category 8 hotel, with award nights running roughly 35,000 to 45,000 points depending on peak and off-peak pricing. That places it among the program's most premium redemptions.

The opening adds to Hyatt's aggressive Caribbean expansion, which already includes new Hyatt Inclusive Collection properties across Cancun, the Riviera Maya, and the Dominican Republic. While Andaz operates outside the all-inclusive model, the brand's entry signals Hyatt's confidence in the Caribbean luxury market beyond the inclusive segment.
