Hotel Xcaret México is the flagship of Grupo Xcaret's hotel portfolio — 1,800 suites built into a jungle and Caribbean Sea setting with rivers, cenote-like pools, and natural inlets woven through the architecture. The December 2017 opening was followed by a $700 million expansion and renovation completed in 2025, adding new suites, restaurants, bars, and waterslides. The property holds a AAA Five Diamond designation, one of only a handful of all-inclusive resorts to do so.
The defining feature is the 'All-Fun Inclusive' program: unlimited access to all nine Grupo Xcaret parks (Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco, Xenses, Xenotes, Xavage, and Xailing). These parks would cost $100–$200+ per person per day independently. For families doing 7–10 nights, working through the park options occupies most of the trip. Xailing also covers ferry service to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel.
For dining, the Ha' restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán offers a nine-course tasting menu (adults-only) at an additional charge — the only extra-cost restaurant on the property. The remaining 20+ venues are included, ranging from Teatro del Río (a riverfront dinner show with a six-course tasting menu) to casual poolside and late-night taco options.
The property is explicitly designed for families while maintaining adults-only spaces. Casa Fuego is the adults-only section. The Xiquillos Kids Club covers ages 4–12, La Paxanguería handles teen nightclub programming, and Casa Vida Rooftop gives teenagers their own DJ and lounge. This segmentation makes it genuinely workable for multi-generational travel.
Practical context: 1,800 suites from 570 to 2,475 sq ft. 16 pools including new waterslides from the 2025 expansion. Seaweed-free beach lagoons. Natural rivers for floating. Complimentary round-trip airport transfers from CUN (45 min). 24-hour room service included.
