This Resort Group Just Reopened All Five of Its Jamaica Hotels — and Added a $30,000 Family Package
Every Royalton property in Jamaica is back open after a post-hurricane refresh, and the brand marked the moment with a seven-night VIP getaway that runs into five figures.
Royalton Hotels & Resorts has reopened all five of its Jamaica properties following a post-Hurricane Melissa renovation, and it timed the comeback to a headline-grabbing new offer: a US$30,000 family package aimed squarely at high-end travelers.
The August 6 announcement confirmed that Royalton Negril, Royalton Blue Waters, the adults-only Hideaway at Royalton Negril, Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters and Grand Lido Negril have all resumed operations. Both the family-friendly resorts and the adults-only portfolio came out of the storm with refreshed dining concepts, new wellness programming and redesigned rooms.
The centerpiece is a seven-night stay Royalton calls The Soul of the Island Package, built for two adults and two children. It bundles a renovated Diamond Club Luxury Presidential One-Bedroom Suite, personal butler service, VIP airport arrival and departure, private transfers, curated Jamaican dining, daily beachfront cabanas and a lineup of excursions that includes Dunn's River Falls, a rum distillery tour and a private sunset catamaran cruise. Families can base themselves at Royalton Negril on Seven Mile Beach or at Royalton Blue Waters near Montego Bay, about 30 minutes from Sangster International Airport.
The move puts Royalton, which runs 24 resorts across eight Caribbean destinations, in direct competition with the other big operators pouring money into Jamaica right now. Sandals is midway through a US$200 million transformation of three of its own Jamaica resorts, all due to reopen later this year.
The reopenings land as the island's tourism sector rebounds hard. Jamaica logged more than one million visitors and roughly US$956 million in foreign-exchange earnings in the first quarter of 2026, and the government is targeting 95 to 98 percent of pre-hurricane visitor levels by year end. For a destination that took a direct hit, a fully reopened Royalton lineup is a meaningful step back toward normal.
