Hale Hōkūala Kaua'i, Curio Collection by Hilton, is now accepting reservations for stays starting October 1, marking the first time the Curio Collection brand has planted a flag in Hawaii. The 210-room resort on Kauai aims to deliver a "distinctive, locally inspired experience rooted in thoughtful design and Hawaiian hospitality," according to General Manager Jon Itoga.

Hilton's Curio Collection is a portfolio of handpicked upper-upscale hotels that retain their individual identities while benefiting from Hilton's distribution and loyalty network. The brand already includes resort properties like the Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa in Jamaica and the Zemi Miches Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Brooke Thomas, brand leader for Curio Collection, called the Kauai property "a testament to the brand's continued growth into the world's most sought-after destinations." Hawaii has become an increasingly competitive market for major hotel brands, with several chains investing heavily in the state's luxury and resort segments.

The opening comes as Curio Collection continues to expand globally, positioning itself as Hilton's answer to travelers seeking authentic, locally rooted stays without sacrificing the reliability of a major loyalty program. For travelers eyeing Hawaii, the Kauai resort adds another compelling option on an island known for its dramatic coastline and quieter pace compared to Oahu or Maui.
