Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya Turns All-Inclusive as Conrad Tulum Follows

Hilton shifts Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya to full all-inclusive from Oct. 1; Waldorf goes adults-only Jan. 10, 2027.

Riviera Maya travelers booking Hilton's top luxury stays just got a clearer product: as of Oct. 1, 2026, Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya are operating as distinct all-inclusive resorts rather than hotels that merely sell an optional meal plan.

Hilton confirmed the change in an Oct. 1 release. Both properties already offered all-inclusive packages earlier in 2026. The new framing makes the inclusive rate the primary stay, with dining, drinks, and curated experiences bundled for guests who want oceanfront luxury without a running tab. The move also puts Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts deeper into the upper end of Mexico's Caribbean coast, where lifestyle brands have been racing into the category.

What changes at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya

Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya, a 173-room oceanfront resort that opened in late 2022, now sells an elevated all-inclusive stay built around privacy, chef-led dining, and a personal concierge. Included dining spans venues such as Malpeque, Chaya, Peacock Alley, and JA'O, with 24-hour in-room dining and a daily refreshed minibar. Eligible direct bookings also get private round-trip transfers from Cancun International Airport.

The bigger planning change lands on Jan. 10, 2027: the resort becomes adults-only for registered guests 18 and older. Existing reservations with guests under 18 arriving on or after that date will be honored under the original plan only until Hilton works with those travelers on alternate options. Anyone holding a family reservation past that cutoff should contact Hilton now rather than wait.

What Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya includes

Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya, set on a secluded bay near Tulum, stays multi-generational while shifting to a full all-inclusive model. Dining coverage spans Mediterranean, Japanese, coastal, and social venues across the property. Eligible stays of four consecutive nights or longer may include one selected resort experience or destination excursion, such as a cenote visit or spa inclusion, plus private airport transfers on qualifying direct bookings.

Families keep the kids' club and resort-wide programming. Adults who want a quieter lane get Ceiba Club, a dedicated 18-plus section with access to Autor, Ceiba Lounge, and the Carbon restaurant, pool, and beach area. That split lets Hilton keep Conrad open to every generation while still answering demand for adults-only pockets inside large resorts.

Why this matters for your booking

If you already hold dates at either resort, Hilton says existing reservations stay under the plan confirmed at booking. The practical so-what is simpler: rates should now reflect a true inclusive stay, points and cash shoppers need to recheck pricing once Hilton finishes updating inventory, and families aiming for Waldorf after mid-January 2027 need a different property. Conrad remains the Hilton luxury option in this pocket of the Riviera Maya if kids are traveling with you.
