Marriott Just Reopened Its Most Unconventional Jamaica All-Inclusive — All 26 Suites Face the Sea
A tiny Negril all-inclusive is back under an Autograph Collection flag, and its dress code may be the most relaxed in the Caribbean.
One of the Caribbean's most unusual all-inclusive resorts is open again. Grand Lido Negril reopened Aug. 25 in Jamaica after an extended closure, returning as a 26-suite oceanfront enclave inside Marriott's Autograph Collection All-Inclusive portfolio — and as an adults-only, au naturel property where a clothing-free experience is the whole point rather than a designated corner.
Officially Grand Lido Negril Au-Naturel, the resort is restricted to guests 21 and older and built around privacy. All 26 suites face the ocean, keeping the room product unusually consistent, and every stay includes butler service, a private clothing-free beach with waiter service, and the resort's own Reggae Bar & Grill.
The clever part is the footprint. A 26-suite hotel would normally mean a short list of restaurants and bars, but Grand Lido sits within the larger Royalton complex, so guests get full run of neighboring Royalton Negril and the adults-only Hideaway at Royalton Negril. That adds up to a choice of 12 restaurants and nine bars across the wider property, plus additional pools — while the Grand Lido enclave stays quiet and separate.
The reopening is part of a broader return of Marriott's Royalton resorts across Negril and Montego Bay, but Grand Lido is easily the most distinctive of the group. Very few properties pair a dedicated naturist environment with a major international hotel brand, which is precisely what gives it an identity.
Rooms start around $526 per night for a sunset ocean-view category, climbing to roughly $658 for a swim-out. Stays also include Club MoBay fast-track service at Sangster International Airport, about an hour and 15 minutes from the resort.
