This Family Resort Brand Just Announced a $1 Billion Caribbean Expansion — With New Properties on Five Islands
Beaches Resorts is adding new all-inclusive resorts in Barbados, Exuma, Saint Vincent, and Jamaica while expanding its flagship Turks and Caicos property.
Beaches Resorts has unveiled a sweeping $1 billion expansion strategy across the Caribbean, adding new resorts in multiple destinations and expanding its existing flagship properties as demand for family-friendly all-inclusive travel continues to surge.
The expansion includes planned new resorts in Barbados, Exuma in the Bahamas, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and a new Beaches Runaway Bay project on Jamaica's north coast. The brand is also expanding its flagship Beaches Turks and Caicos property with the new 101-room Treasure Beach Village, which recently opened with a beachfront celebration on Grace Bay.
New Destinations for the Brand
The Barbados project marks a significant strategic shift for Beaches, moving into one of the Caribbean's most established tourism markets for the first time. The Exuma resort targets a destination known for crystal-clear water and growing luxury demand, while the Saint Vincent property builds on the momentum created by sister brand Sandals and its Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines resort, which has driven a surge in American travel to the island.
Meanwhile, Beaches Runaway Bay adds to the brand's existing Jamaica footprint in a corridor known for accessibility and a quieter atmosphere compared to the busier Montego Bay strip.
Why It Matters
The scale of the investment signals continued strong demand for family-focused all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. While adult-only brands have dominated recent headlines, Beaches is doubling down on the family segment with properties designed around simplified planning, built-in kids' programs, and multi-generational appeal.
The expansion also adds significant new hotel capacity across the region at a time when Caribbean occupancy rates are hitting record levels. For travelers, it means more options across a wider range of islands within the Beaches ecosystem.
