This Luxury Hotel Brand Just Opened Its First-Ever Caribbean Resort — on One of the World's Best Beaches
Hyatt's Andaz brand has debuted in the Caribbean with a 59-room property on Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, plus 74 branded residences.
Hyatt's Andaz brand has officially entered the Caribbean with the opening of Andaz Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay — a 59-room luxury resort on Providenciales that marks the lifestyle brand's first property in the region.
The resort sits directly on Grace Bay Beach, consistently ranked among the world's top stretches of sand, and includes 74 branded residences alongside the hotel rooms. Most residences offer panoramic ocean views, targeting both leisure travelers and buyers looking for vacation homes in one of the Caribbean's most sought-after markets.
Facilities include several dining areas and pools, a luxury spa with an indoor-outdoor concept, a fitness center, and a garden yoga studio — positioning the property as a wellness-forward alternative to the larger all-inclusive resorts that dominate the Turks and Caicos market.
Hyatt Expands Its Caribbean Footprint
The opening adds to Hyatt's growing Caribbean presence, which has historically leaned heavily on its all-inclusive brands like Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara. The Andaz debut represents a different strategy — a boutique luxury property competing with independent resorts rather than large-scale all-inclusives.
Grace Bay has attracted significant development interest in recent years, with multiple luxury residential and resort projects planned or under construction along Providenciales' northern shore. The Beaches Turks and Caicos resort remains one of the island's largest properties nearby.
The Andaz arrival signals growing confidence in Turks and Caicos as a luxury destination capable of supporting boutique lifestyle brands alongside its established all-inclusive market.
