Cabarete Beach

A public beach that fronts the town of Cabarete. The resort has its designated section with loungers and umbrellas. The beach is lively — local Dominicans, independent tourists, and resort guests share the same stretch. Consistent trade winds create chop in the open water, which is good for wind sports and less ideal for calm swimming. Protected lagoon sections closer to the reef have calmer water.
