Rating8.3El Cocay Spa is the full-service spa shared across the El Cid complex, accessible to all Ventus Ha' guests. The facility includes a traditional Mayan Temazcal steam bath — one of the few resorts in the area with an authentic ceremony rather than a token version. Hydrotherapy circuit, treatment cabanas, sauna, and steam room round out the facilities. All spa treatments are extra cost. Book early in your stay as the Temazcal sessions fill quickly.

The fitness center with spinning room, treadmills, ellipticals, TRX, and weights. Complimentary for all guests. Professional trainers available. Open 7 AM to 9 PM.
The signature treatment incorporating traditional Mayan deep-tissue techniques. Longer sessions (90 minutes) are more effective than the 60-minute version for muscular tension. Extra cost.
Customized to skin type. The selection uses local botanical ingredients. Worth doing on day 2 or 3 after your skin has adjusted to the humidity and sun. Extra cost.
Exfoliating treatment using natural ingredients. Popular post-sun treatment. Extra cost.
Therapeutic water circuit using hot and cold temperature contrast to stimulate circulation. Can be booked independently of a massage. Extra cost.
Essential oil treatments as an add-on or standalone session. Common pairing with any massage. Extra cost.
Traditional Mayan purification ceremony in a dome-shaped steam room. A shaman leads a guided ritual using copal incense, herbs, and chanting. This is the most culturally specific offering in the spa and genuinely different from a sauna. Usually runs 90 minutes. Book on arrival day as sessions fill. Extra cost.
Dry heat sauna accessible as part of the hydrotherapy circuit. Included with most treatment bookings. Extra cost if used standalone.
Wet steam room providing moist heat. Pairs well with a body scrub before a massage. Extra cost.
