Rating8.3The activity schedule at Ventus is one of the stronger programs among mid-range Riviera Maya all-inclusives, with twice-daily fitness classes, a full water sports setup, and guided cultural experiences included. The Kids' Club runs 12 hours a day — one of the longer operating windows in the area. All water sports depart from the private beach, a short walk from the main buildings.

Largest pool on the property at 3,675 sq ft. Free-form design with a dedicated shallow section for children. Most activity between 10 AM and 4 PM. Gets crowded on weekends when the resort is fully booked — head to the adults-only or infinity pools for quiet.
1,108 sq ft adults-only oasis with two jacuzzis and a sun deck solarium facing the Caribbean. Quieter than the main pool throughout the day. Best used in the afternoon when the sun angle is optimal for the solarium.
Edge-less design where the water appears to merge with the ocean horizon. Often heated. The most photogenic pool at the resort. Macondo Bar is immediately adjacent for drink service.
Adults-only infinity pool on the rooftop with live DJ most evenings. Balinese beds require early arrival during peak weeks. Spectacular ocean and mangrove panoramas. Open 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
Ground-level pools connected directly to swim-up suite terraces. Access restricted to guests in those rooms. Smaller scale for privacy. Steps from room to water.
Located at Hotel Marina El Cid next door, accessible via exchange privilege. Mini waterslide makes this a clear priority for families with younger children.
Attractive beach with calm water protected by the Puerto Morelos reef. The seagrass issue is seasonal and most pronounced from May through October. Sandbags are visible in sections where staff concentrate cleaning. December through April is significantly better. Complimentary water sports equipment, loungers, and palapa huts. Platinum Club guests get priority palapa reservations. Waiter service on the beach.
Complimentary kayak rentals from the beach. Equipment in good condition. Calm morning conditions are best before afternoon winds arrive.
Stand-up paddleboards available at the beach. Included in rate. Beginners should go early when the water is flat.
Sailing on a Hobie catamaran, available for guests 18 and older. Included.
Windsurfing available for guests 18+. Equipment and basic instruction provided. Afternoon winds make this more practical after noon.

Organized games most afternoons. Walk-up play available outside scheduled hours.
Two courts within the complex. Walk-in access; equipment provided.
Guided rides into the village. Puerto Morelos has a good local market and authentic restaurants — the bike tour is one of the better cultural inclusions.
Spinning room, treadmills, ellipticals, TRX, and weights. Open 7 AM to 9 PM. Minimum age 16. Professional trainers available.
Twice daily, both disciplines. Some sessions are held oceanside depending on weather. Bring your own mat or borrow from the resort.
