Rating8.6Adults OnlySandals Royal Caribbean includes a full non-motorized water sports program, PADI-certified scuba diving, and afternoon tea (a British colonial holdover that fits the resort's character). Access to Sandals Montego Bay via exchange extends the activity options. The private island adds snorkeling directly off the reef.
The primary pool on the main resort — social, active during the day, with swim-up bar access.
Pool on Sandals Cay with a Tahitian design aesthetic. Accessed by water taxi — part of the island day experience. A different atmosphere from the main resort pools.
Secondary pool on the private island — smaller and quieter than the Tahitian-style pool.
Swim-up access pool connected to the Crystal Lagoon suite areas. Primarily for guests in swim-up room categories.
Secondary pool on the east side of the main property. An alternative to the main pool for guests wanting less activity.
Pool on the south end of the main resort grounds.
Dedicated training pool for scuba certification and dive courses. Not a recreational swim pool.
Private plunge pools for butler villa categories. The overwater villas on the island have the most distinctively positioned private pools.
The main resort beach in Montego Bay — described as Jamaica's largest exclusive private beach in the Sandals portfolio. White sand with relatively calm water. Some sections have rocks or reef near the waterline; not all of the beach is uniformly sandy-bottomed for wading. The private resort designation means no outside vendors on the main beach.
Sandals Cay has its own smaller, more secluded beaches including a clothing-optional section. Calmer, clearer water than the main beach. The snorkeling off the island reef is the better of the two beach options for marine activity. Weather-dependent access — the boat may not run on high-wind days.
Equipment included from both the main beach and Sandals Cay. The offshore island reef provides the better snorkeling conditions.
Kayaks and canoes from the main beach. Included.
Stand-up paddleboarding from the main beach. Included.
Hobie Cats and small sailboats from the main beach. Included.
Fully included PADI-certified diving. Jamaica has reef systems along the north coast with decent visibility. This is one of the better-positioned Sandals Jamaica properties for diving access.
Equipment and instruction available. Included.
Water tubing from the beach. Included.
Water trikes for paddling around the shoreline. Included.
Motorized water skiing from the beach. Check scheduling with the water sports team.

Scheduled classes including yoga and water aerobics. Complimentary.
