Rating8.8Adults Only
Rating8.6Adults OnlyOne of the more comprehensive water sports programs in the Sandals chain. The motorized sports inclusion (waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kneeboarding) is the standout — these typically cost $80–150/hour elsewhere. PADI scuba for certified divers (up to two dives/day) is also included.
The primary social pool with swim-up bar. Gets active mid-morning. Noted by guests as smaller than main pools at larger Sandals properties — the resort's beach focus means this is a supplement rather than the centerpiece.
Larger winding pool designed for leisure floating rather than lap swimming. Associated with the Crystal Lagoon suite categories. Quieter energy than the main pool.
Pool area adjacent to the Piano Bar. Evening atmosphere tends to be more sophisticated and lower-key. Second swim-up bar option.
Dedicated to PADI instruction and check-outs. Not a general-use pool — training only.
Available exclusively to Palm Grove and SkyPool Butler suite guests. Plunge pool in the Palm Grove category has a miniature waterfall feature. SkyPool suite has an infinity pool on an elevated roof terrace.
Multiple whirlpools around the property for all guests. Good for evening use when pool crowds thin out.
This section of Seven Mile Beach is genuinely among the best in Jamaica — wide, white sand, calm turquoise water. Sandals Negril's positioning gives guests access to one of the wider stretches with more space per guest than many other hotels on the same beach. Water sports are staged from the beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas available. The beach is public, which means local vendors approach from outside the resort's boundary — this is consistent and unavoidable at this property and at Negril generally. Sargassum seaweed affects all Jamaica beaches seasonally (July–October peak).
Equipment included. The reef adjacent to Seven Mile Beach has moderate marine life — decent for beginners, not a premier dive site. Equipment available from the water sports desk.
Single and double kayaks from the beach. Included. Calm, flat water along Negril's west coast is good for all skill levels.
Stand-up paddleboarding, included. Seven Mile Beach has minimal chop in the morning — best time for SUP before afternoon trade winds pick up.
Hobie Cat sailboats with instruction included. Wind conditions are good on the west coast for actual sailing.
PADI-certified scuba, up to two dives per day. Equipment included. Negril has accessible reef diving including some decent wall dives offshore. Check the dive schedule at the water sports desk on arrival.
Included motorized sport. Calm bay water is ideal for waterskiing. Time slots shared — check the activity board.
Included. More technical than water skiing; instruction available. One of the more unusual inclusions at an all-inclusive.
Included. Scheduled departures — check the activity board. A good option for guests who want to see underwater life without snorkeling.
Equipment and instruction included. West coast conditions provide usable wind.
Towed tubing included. The most accessible motorized water activity — no balance or skill required.
Included. A middle ground between waterskiing and tubing. Rarely seen as an included activity — worth trying if you've never done it.
Courts included. Night lighting for evening play. Equipment provided.
