La Cruz De Huanacaxtle, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico
Seven dining venues on-site (nine post-2025 expansion), plus the Tonati Beach Club serving à la carte lunch off-property. Komorebi Teppanyaki reservations should be made two days in advance — it's the most popular venue. Carbon Steel (adults-only fire cooking, extra charge) and several other new venues from the 2025 expansion add options the original property lacked.

Authentic Japanese and Asian
Japanese teppanyaki with four seating times: 6, 7, 8, and 9 PM. Reservation required, smart casual dress, dinner only. Book two days in advance via the Marriott Bonvoy app or at the reservation desk on arrival day. Each seating runs about 90 minutes with a full chef performance at the grill table. The most reliable dinner option at the property — avoid gambles with buffet variation by securing a teppanyaki slot for mid-week.
Signature dishes: Authentic Teppanyaki experiences
Traditional Mexican and International
Main buffet: breakfast 8 AM–noon, dinner 6–10 PM. Indoor. Themed dinner nights rotate through Mediterranean, BBQ, Surf & Turf, Oriental, Mexican, Italian, and Tex Mex. Locally sourced ingredients are highlighted; the breakfast spread uses fresh tropical fruit effectively. Dinner quality is more variable than breakfast — the themed nights help but aren't fully consistent.
Signature dishes: Fusion of locally grown ingredients, Themed dinner nights (Mediterranean, BBQ, Surf & Turf, Oriental, Mexican, Italian, Tex Mex)
Seafood and Local Delicacies
Private beach club, 11 AM–6 PM, 10–15 minute complimentary shuttle ride. À la carte lunch with fresh seafood and local dishes — consistently rated better food than the main buffet. Confirm the shuttle schedule at check-in and confirm whether the club is closed for private events on your planned day; closures for private bookings have frustrated guests who counted on it.
Snacks, Light Meals
24/7 grab-and-go snacks, light meals, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages. Useful for early risers before the 8 AM buffet opens, late arrivals, and nighttime hunger. One of the more practical amenities at a Marriott-flagged property.
Signature dishes: Quick snacks and light meals
International Snacks, Poolside Bites
Poolside snacks and drinks, noon–7 PM, outdoor by the jungle pool. Casual, swimwear acceptable. Good for guests who don't want to leave the pool area for a full lunch.
Custom Cocktails, Regional Spirits, Bites
Evening cocktail bar, 6 PM–midnight. Signature 'Marakame' cocktail: hibiscus, wine, spicy liquor, and mezcal. Regional Mexican spirits are the specialty. Bites and snacks available. The most creative bar program at the property — worth visiting at least once for the cocktail menu.
Signature dishes: Marakame (hibiscus, wine, spicy liquor, mezcal with citric explosion)
Creative Cocktails, Refreshing Drinks
10 AM–11 PM at the main entrance. Signature 'DELTA Breeze' cocktail. Central gathering point for pre-dinner drinks and early evening socializing.
