Rating8.0Lijiang runs two functional restaurants plus a wine cellar and two bars. Square (the gourmet lounge) requires reservations and is the one spot worth planning around — it's the only place doing authentic Naxi cuisine with table service. Baisha is the workhorse buffet for all three meals. Note that Shuhe, the sports complex restaurant, is temporarily closed as of recent guest reports, so don't count on it.

Traditional Naxi, Hotpot, Local Yunnanese
The resort's specialty restaurant focuses on Naxi cuisine and Yunnan mountain ingredients. Steam Pot Chicken — a local dish where meat is slow-cooked in steam pressure — and local mushroom platters are the standouts. Hotpot runs on select evenings. In the afternoon it becomes an informal noodle bar. Reservations required; book the morning of your preferred dinner. Smart casual dress. The attached wine cellar carries premium labels at extra cost.
Signature dishes: Steam Pot Chicken, Local Mushroom Delicacies
International, Chinese, Western (French, Italian), Eastern Asian (Korean, Japanese), Noodle Bar
The main all-day buffet with four themed indoor rooms plus lawn seating facing the mountain. Covers Western, Asian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese stations with live cooking. The Lijiang noodle bar section consistently draws lines at lunch. Breakfast salmon sashimi platter appears regularly and disappears fast. No reservation needed; walk-in at all meal periods.
Signature dishes: Salmon Sashimi Platter, Roasted Meat Tortilla, Lijiang Noodle Bar creations
