Rating8.0Over 25 included activities and 28 on-demand options. The water sports program is the main draw: sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling (with boat trips to nearby reefs), windsurfing, and seasonal waterskiing/wakeboarding. Tennis on clay courts with group lessons. Beach volleyball and pickleball. The teen programs (11–17) are substantive. Scuba diving is extra cost but is the primary reason serious divers choose this resort.
Outdoor freshwater infinity pool facing Bonefish Bay. Heated December and January only. Two-seater lounge couches with curtains, teak deckchairs. Framed by palm trees. Accessible to children 4+ with supervision. The pool is well-positioned but not large — it fills during peak hours. Best used in the morning or late afternoon.
One mile of white powder sand on a protected bay with calm, clear turquoise water. One of the better private beaches in the Club Med portfolio — the water color and clarity are legitimately good. Active water sports (sailing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, wakeboarding) launched from the beach. La Pinta Beach Bar and La Niña bar both accessible. Sand flies are active at dusk — effective repellent is strongly advised for sunset and evening beach time.
