Rating8.1A full daily program from 10 AM–5 PM covering beach and pool activities, sports, and fitness. Non-motorized water sports directly from Palm Beach (snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing) are included. Motorized activities (parasailing, jet skis) cost extra. Kids get a structured program with mini disco (Mon–Sat, 6–8:30 PM) and an outdoor games schedule. Casino access is included. Scuba diving, private tennis lessons, and local excursions all carry surcharges.

A large, irregularly shaped free-form lagoon pool with tropical rock and palm landscaping — the kind of naturalistic design typical of Barceló's Caribbean properties. Features a swim-up bar (Splash Aqua Bar), in-pool jacuzzi areas, and sunbeds surrounding most of the perimeter. The animation team runs pool activities here daily from late morning. Sunbeds claim early — the towel-on-chair issue is documented. Arrive before 8:30 AM to secure preferred spots.
Direct resort access to Aruba's most famous beach. Powder-white sand, calm turquoise water — the relative calm is because Palm Beach faces west, sheltered from the full force of the Atlantic. Non-motorized water sports launch from here: snorkeling gear, kayaks, sailboats, windsurfers included in the all-inclusive package. Umbrellas, loungers, and towels provided. Aruba's tradewinds mean bring a towel clip — things blow around. The beach is genuinely excellent; the main draw for choosing this particular strip over others.
Complimentary from Palm Beach: snorkeling gear, kayaks, sailing boats, windsurfing boards, and kitesurfing equipment. Instruction available from beach staff. No reservation needed — first-come basis.
Scheduled aqua aerobics and water polo in the main lagoon pool, led by the activities team. Usually one or two sessions per day.
Two floodlit tennis courts, basketball court, beach volleyball, darts, and petanque. All included. Casual self-organized play or coordinated by the animation team.
24-hour gym with modern cardio and weight machines. No appointment needed. Consistently available even when other amenities are busy.
Group fitness and yoga sessions, included. Schedule varies by season — check the daily activity board at the gym.
Complimentary supervised program: games, arts and crafts, movies, challenges. Daily schedule with morning and afternoon blocks. Parents must sign in and pick up children — no unaccompanied drop-offs.
Pool games scheduled at 11:30 AM, beach games at 3 PM. Quick, organized activities that don't require pre-registration.
Monday through Saturday, 6–8:30 PM. An early-evening activity that conveniently bridges the gap between kids' club closing and adult dinner.
Shows at 10 PM in the resort theater. Programming rotates — theme nights, live bands, acrobatics, dance shows, and karaoke. Quality is generally mid-tier, consistent with a large all-inclusive property.
Lobby bar: live music 7–9 PM. DJ from 11:30 PM–2 AM. Good for guests who want structured nightlife without leaving the property.
Periodic themed evenings with costume shows, live bands, and karaoke. Schedule varies week to week — check the activities board on arrival.
Full animation program 10 AM–5 PM. Ranges from tournaments (beach volleyball, water polo) to casual games. The activities team is consistently praised as friendly and enthusiastic.
On-site casino, included for adult guests. Table games and slots. Typically opens in the evening.
Parasailing and jet skis available at extra charge from the beach vendor. Not resort-operated — arrange independently at the beach hut.
Lessons, certification, and equipment rental at additional cost. Often arranged through a dive center near the hotel rather than on-site.
One-on-one coaching at additional cost. Must arrange through the activities desk.
Cooking and cocktail-making classes at local venues, extra charge. Arrange through the concierge.
Organized tours to natural pools, Arikok National Park, De Palm Island, and deep-sea fishing charters. All carry additional fees. The concierge desk books these and can advise on reputable operators.
