Rating7.9Strong activity roster across the complex — non-motorized water sports (1 hour/day included), kids water park, evening shows, and a fitness class schedule that includes pickleball and archery alongside the standard aerobics and Zumba. The Kids Club (Bahia Scouts, ages 4–12) runs supervised sessions including cooking classes and craft workshops. Teens have a dedicated hub at Bahia Principe Village with gym, movie theatre, and DJ nights.

Large twin lake-style pool with swim-up bar. The main social pool on the property — busiest from 10am–4pm. Get a lounger before 9am during peak weeks.
Second twin pool, slightly quieter than the East pool. Integrated relaxation areas and umbrellas. Whirlpool baths are built into the pool at the edges.
Water park with slides for ages 2–15, height maximum 1.5m. Supervised. The 1.5m limit excludes tall older kids from the main slides.
Whirlpool sections within the main pools. Less crowded in mid-morning before the peak pool hours.
Extra charge. Ages 4 and up, 15–20 minute sessions. Worth it for families with older kids who've done the standard pool activities.
Enclosed pool — less busy than the outdoor options. Useful on the occasional overcast day or when the outdoor pools are at full capacity.
Direct beachfront — no shuttle required, which is a meaningful advantage over inland properties. Powdery white sand, usually calm water. Seaweed builds up significantly in July and August — if beach quality matters to you, October through February is the reliable season. Chairs with shade go quickly after 8am in peak months. Non-motorized water sports available here (included, 1 hour/day).
1 hour per person per day included: snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, catamaran. Book at the beach sports desk early morning.
One complimentary pool session per person per stay. Reservation required — arrange this on day one.
Courts available, 1 hour per person per day. Walk-up.
Basketball, volleyball, pickleball, mini-golf, archery, table tennis, soccer, darts. Walk-in, included. Pickleball and archery are less common at Caribbean all-inclusives — worth trying if you want something different.
