La Manga del Mar Menor is a narrow land strip separating the Mar Menor lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea, and AluaSun Doblemar occupies a position that gives guests direct access to both bodies of water. The lagoon side is warm, shallow, and virtually wave-free — among the calmest natural swimming conditions in Spain, ideal for families and beginners in water sports like windsurfing and kitesurfing. The Mediterranean side, a 150–250m walk across the strip, offers full ocean conditions with more wave action. That dual access is the reason to choose Doblemar over other all-inclusives on the Costa Cálida.
