Silversands Beach House has quietly opened on Grenada's Portici Beach, bringing 28 rooms to a stretch of coastline that's quickly becoming one of the Caribbean's most talked-about destinations.

The property is the second from the Silversands brand, joining its sister resort on Grand Anse. But Beach House takes a different approach: smaller, more intimate, and designed around the beach itself. Every room features canvas canopies, open-plan layouts, and private terraces — from entry-level Island View rooms to two-bedroom Panoramic Ocean View suites and standalone beachfront bungalows.

On the amenities front, a rooftop gym overlooks the ocean, a spa offers treatment rooms with sea views, and Azzurro — a beachfront Italian restaurant with a wood-fired pizza oven — handles the dining. Guests also get access to the full dining lineup at the original Silversands property, including Asiatique, Grenadian Grill, and the Puro rum bar.

Rates start around $1,400 per night in April, positioning Beach House firmly in the luxury tier. Direct flights from Miami (about three and a half hours) and connections from New York and Charlotte make it accessible from the US East Coast.

Grenada has been steadily building its resort portfolio over the past two years, with properties like Sandals Grenada and Royalton Grenada already drawing visitors. Silversands Beach House adds a boutique alternative for travelers who want something smaller and more design-forward — without leaving the Caribbean's most underrated island.
