Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic is launching the Cigars in Paradise Festival from June 25 through June 28 — a long-weekend event built around premium cigars, Dominican rum, and golf on one of the Caribbean's most famous courses.

The festival brings together more than 25 cigar brands, including Arturo Fuente, Ashton, La Aurora, Oliva, and Plasencia, along with master blenders, rum distillers, and industry leaders for seminars, tastings, and evening events spread across the resort's marina district and grounds.

Daytime programming features educational sessions with blenders and distillers, while evenings expand into a full festival atmosphere with tasting booths, live music, Dominican coffee and cacao presentations, and food stations along the harbor.

Golf Is Central to the Experience

Every package includes access to Casa de Campo's three Pete Dye-designed courses, headlined by the Teeth of the Dog — the oceanfront layout regularly ranked among the best in the Caribbean. The resort's Dye Fore course offers elevated views over the Chavon River, while The Links provides a more traditional inland experience.

Packages start at $659 per person per day and include three nights, all meals, unlimited premium drinks, airport transfers, festival admission, and personal meet-and-greets with master blenders. The timing during summer shoulder season means easier tee times and quieter beaches than peak winter months.

American Airlines operates nonstop flights between Miami and La Romana, making the resort accessible in under three hours from South Florida.
