Breathtaking Marina Setting
Marigot Bay's natural beauty is the resort's calling card. Guests are consistently awed by the marina views, lush hillside surroundings, and the sense of being tucked into one of the Caribbean's most scenic harbors.
Genuinely Warm Staff
The warmth and friendliness of the staff is consistently highlighted across platforms. Room ambassadors and restaurant staff create genuine connections, and many guests single out individuals by name in reviews.
Spacious Suite Accommodations
At 915 sq ft for entry-level Junior Suites, the accommodations impress with generous proportions, furnished terraces, and marina or garden views. Penthouse residences with private plunge pools draw particular enthusiasm.
Unique Rum Cave Experience
The Rum Cave with its trolley service of rare Caribbean rums, cigars, tapas, and live music is frequently cited as a resort highlight and an experience unlike anything at competing all-inclusive properties.
Ideal Base for Exploring St. Lucia
Guests appreciate the resort's central west-coast location for accessing the Pitons, Soufrière, rainforest hikes, and snorkeling spots, with the concierge praised for arranging seamless excursions.
Hillside Accessibility Challenges
The steep, multi-level hillside layout with extensive stairs between buildings is a significant concern for guests with mobility issues. While some elevator access exists, navigating between pools, restaurants, and suites still involves considerable walking on inclines.
Inconsistent Service Speed
Despite the warmth of the staff, multiple reviews report slow food and drink service, particularly at the pools where 30+ minute waits for orders are noted. Service quality and speed vary by shift and staff member.
Property Showing Its Age
Despite the 2022 Zoëtry rebranding, some guests note the property's 2006-era infrastructure — occasional reports of aging fixtures, slow drains, water pressure drops, and decor that doesn't match the premium price.
Value Questions at Premium Pricing
At luxury all-inclusive rates, some guests feel the experience doesn't fully justify the price, particularly when surcharges at Meraki and occasional maintenance issues are factored in.

Zoëtry Marigot Bay overlooks one of the Caribbean's most recognizable harbors — a bay so sheltered and picturesque that British Admiral George Rodney reportedly disguised his fleet here during the 18th-century colonial wars by camouflaging the masts as palm trees. The resort originally opened in 2006 as the Capella Marigot Bay, was renovated in 2014, and relaunched in December 2022 under Hyatt's Inclusive Collection. The 124 suites terrace down the hillside in a series of buildings offering panoramic views of anchored yachts, the bay, and the rainforest-covered hills.
At 915 square feet, the entry-level Junior Suite is among the largest base suite in St. Lucia's all-inclusive market. The space is meaningful: furnished terraces with marina views give every entry-category guest a setting that's genuinely impressive. Suites scale from there to 3,200 square feet for the Three-Bedroom Penthouse.
Seven dining venues for 124 suites is an unusually generous ratio. The Rum Cave is the property's most distinctive amenity — a bar carved into the hillside with rare Caribbean rum trolleys, cigar service, and live music. It's the kind of evening destination with genuine character. Restaurant 1461 is the signature fine dining option.
The transfer from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) is one hour by road. The smaller George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) in Castries is 20 minutes away — if your routing permits it, this is a significantly better option. The hillside layout is the property's most practical challenge: significant stair climbing between buildings. Some elevator access exists but isn't comprehensive. Guests with mobility limitations should confirm accessibility before booking.
