This resort works best for families with teenagers and mixed-age groups who collectively want different things from a vacation. The FlowRider draws thrill-seekers; the lazy river works for all ages; the casino gives adults an evening option. Couples seeking a quieter, more intimate stay would be better served elsewhere — 730 rooms means crowds at the pools and beach, and the atmosphere is consistently lively. If you want peaceful, skip Bavaro in high season.
