Park Royal Beach Mazatlán occupies a quieter position in Mexico's Pacific resort market: small, genuinely relaxed, and on Cerritos Beach—Mazatlán's cleanest and least developed major beach stretch, away from the older Zona Dorada crowds. The 128–133 room count (sources vary) keeps the property manageable. The infinity pool overlooking the Pacific is the visual centerpiece and probably the strongest single feature.
This is a property for guests who want to slow down rather than be organized into activities. The all-inclusive program covers meals, beverages, and non-motorized water sports, but the activity calendar is sparse compared to Cancun or Ixtapa properties. A Kids Club exists but detailed programming is not widely documented. The dining program is lean—two restaurants (La Veranda buffet and Blue Marlin Snack & Cevicheria) plus a lobby bar. For a full week, guests who need restaurant variety will feel limited.
The beds are specifically called out as hard in multiple guest reviews—worth flagging for side sleepers or anyone sensitive to mattress firmness. Room finishes have been called mixed, with some reports of WiFi inconsistency. The ocean views and beach access are consistently praised.
Cerritos Beach itself is a meaningful differentiator within Mazatlán. The resort's private beach section on this stretch is what brings guests back repeatedly. Mazatlán airport is 29–37 km away (30–34 minutes), and the city's historic centro is accessible for day trips. The seafront promenade (Malecón) is one of the world's longest and easily reachable.
