Swimming Pools
A sinuous winding pool with an infinity edge extending toward Juanillo Beach. The iconic oversized Margaritaville Adirondack chair at the pool's edge is the photo opportunity most guests end up taking. The most social pool on the property, adjacent to the Five o'Clock Somewhere swim-up bar.
Adults-Only Infinity Pools
Additional dedicated adults-only pools with private cabana areas. Quieter than the main pool. The better option for guests who want swimming without the organized activity noise.

The main swim-up bar pool. Open 10 AM–6 PM. Best seats are the in-pool bar stools with Juanillo Beach views — claimed early by regulars.
The villa-section lagoon pool. Exclusively for Island Reserve Villa guests. Features hanging beds floating in the pool alongside the swim-up bar. The most distinctive pool configuration at the property.
Second-floor Island Reserve Private Pool Villas have individual plunge pools on the terrace level. Full privacy — not accessible from public areas.
Beaches
One of the best resort beaches in the Dominican Republic by consistent guest consensus. Soft white sand, calm turquoise water, minimal wave action. A small rocky area exists on one end but doesn't affect the main swimming area. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach volleyball courts. Non-motorized water sports available from the beach service desk.
