The Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme was Turkey's first Hilton Resort property when it opened in June 2009, and the 2024 renovation update keeps it competitive in a Turkish resort corridor that has grown considerably in quality. The specific geography here — where the Aegean Sea meets the Dalaman Stream on a 650-meter private beach — gives this property a distinct natural setting, including a riverside dining option (A la Turca Turkish Restaurant) that few Turkish resorts can match.
This is a large family resort operating on Ultra All-Inclusive, which means a more comprehensive bar package than standard all-inclusive but also a more complex cost structure: the seven à la carte specialty restaurants (Italian, Far Eastern, teppanyaki, Turkish, Indian, Mediterranean, oyster and champagne bar) all carry extra charges per person. That's the main source of guest frustration — arriving expecting all-in dining and discovering the most interesting restaurants cost more. Factor it into your budget upfront.
The physical scale is genuinely impressive for families: seven outdoor pools including three kids' pools, three indoor pools, two full aquaparks with waterslides, a 6,000 sq m Elysion Spa with 18 treatment rooms, and a dedicated Kidz Paradise children's club with professional staff. The 650-meter beach is consistently rated one of the better private beaches in the Dalaman region. The kids' programs draw consistent top reviews.
For adults without children: the resort is well-suited for leisure-focused couples, particularly because of the Elysion Spa's size (18 treatment rooms plus VIP rooms is unusually large) and the variety of dining available with the extra charge. The lake house section has its own private breakfast. The 18-hole championship golf course is scheduled to open June 2026, which will add a meaningful activity for golf-focused guests who currently have limited on-site options.
Practical numbers: 15–20 minutes from Dalaman Airport (DLM). Opened 2009, renovated 2024. The buffet peak-hour crowding is a consistent complaint; plan meals slightly off the standard 7 AM/12:30 PM/7 PM rush windows to avoid the worst of it.
