The Bay of Banderas location is the practical argument for Grand Decameron Bucerías over competing resorts in Puerto Vallarta proper. The Bay's calm, warm water makes Playa Bucerías excellent for swimming and long beach walks. The town of Bucerías itself — cobblestone streets, local restaurants, a small art gallery scene — is walkable from the resort gates, which gives guests access to authentic Mexican coastal life beyond the all-inclusive compound. Guests who want to feel connected to an actual Mexican town between pool sessions find this location more rewarding than isolated resort developments further up the coast.
