The private Zen Pool in every accommodation is Domes Novos Santorini's central feature — and at 52 units total, the resort is small enough that this isn't an upselll for the top tier; every guest gets one regardless of room category. The entry-level Echoes Retreat (322 sq ft) has one. The Novos Villa has one. This uniformity of private pool access is genuinely unusual at any price point in Santorini.
The resort opened in April 2024 in the Tholos area, a quieter stretch of the island close to Oia. Unlike Imerovigli or Fira, Tholos doesn't have the same concentration of restaurants and bars walking distance from the gate — which is by design. The complimentary shuttle to Oia runs regularly, and Oia's restaurants, galleries, and sunset viewpoints are the primary off-property destination. For guests who want Santorini's famous views and village culture without being in the middle of tourist traffic, the Tholos location works.
Who this suits: couples on honeymoon or anniversary trips who want a private pool, a rooftop dinner, and easy shuttle access to Oia without paying the highest Caldera-facing rates. Families who want a private pool experience in Santorini without completely sacrificing kids' programming (KiEPOS Kids' Club runs for ages 4+). Who it doesn't suit: guests who need a beach (Santorini's volcanic beaches require a drive, and this resort has none on-site), or guests who want a property with a wide range of dining options.
