Divi Village is the hub of the Divi Aruba network. Windows on Aruba — the most formal dining venue in the entire Divi portfolio — and BarTapas are both based here, which means even guests staying at Dutch Village or the other sister properties shuttle over for these restaurants. The infinity pool with water slide and swim-up bar is the network's best pool. For guests choosing between Divi properties, Village is the one with the best on-site amenities.
The resort targets families, couples, and golfers. The Links at Divi Aruba is across the street — a 9-hole course included in the Signature All-Inclusive before 3pm. The rock climbing wall on Druif Beach is a rare feature at a Caribbean resort and consistently mentioned by families as something kids ask to repeat. The MEGA All-Inclusive package expanding to four resorts is still the main value proposition: 15 restaurants, 12 bars, 11 pools, and two miles of beach access at Tamarijn Aruba all become available.
The honest issue: 348 suites is large enough that the resort can feel impersonal. Guest feedback notes inconsistent housekeeping and some service lapses during busy periods. The all-suite format (every unit has a full kitchen) means the property functions partly like a self-catering apartment complex, and guests who expect the attentiveness of a smaller boutique property may be disappointed.
Practically: Built in 1993, renovated in 2017, 348 suites with full kitchens. Druif Beach is a short walk. The infinity pool is the best single feature on property. Airport (AUA) is 4.6 miles, about 10 minutes. Kids 12 and under stay and eat free under specific conditions.
