Family-Friendly Fun
The resort excels with its outstanding kids' clubs and dedicated family amenities, including a pool with slides, making it a favorite for families with young children.
Abundant Activities
An extensive range of included activities, from archery and tennis to flying trapeze and yoga, ensures there's something engaging for all ages and skill levels.
Serene Environment
The beautiful, well-maintained grounds, lush gardens, and tranquil Zen pool create a peaceful oasis, providing a relaxing escape from the city's hustle.
Engaging Entertainment
Evening entertainment, including live performances, music, and special garden parties with acrobatics, consistently delights guests and contributes to a vibrant atmosphere.
Service Consistency
While staff are generally warm, some guests reported inconsistencies in service responsiveness, especially regarding follow-up on specific maintenance requests.
Pool Temperatures
A recurring concern is that some pools, notably the family pool, can be cold, which might impact the swimming experience for some guests.
Family Room Distance
The newer Family Oasis rooms, while appealing, are located furthest from the main facilities, which can be inconvenient for families seeking quick access to dining and central activities.
Extra Costs for Amenities
Guests should be aware that premium services like spa treatments, off-resort excursions, and specific kids' club services (Baby Club Med) incur additional charges beyond the all-inclusive rate.
Drink Preferences
Some cocktails tend to be sweet, and the included wine selection is primarily limited to local and French options, which might not suit all palates.

Club Med
Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie has operated in Marrakech's historic palm grove since 1963 — which makes it one of the oldest Club Med properties still running. Major renovations in 2022 updated the public areas, wellness facilities, and kids' zones, and a 2023–24 expansion added a Baby Club and the new Ksar Family Oasis section. The setting is the resort's strongest argument: tranquil courtyards, scented gardens, and medina-influenced architecture that genuinely feel removed from the tourist intensity of Jemaa el-Fna, yet a free shuttle puts you there in 20–30 minutes.
This works well for two distinct traveler types: families with kids aged 4 and up who want a structured, all-inclusive base with the medina accessible but optional; and couples or adults willing to pay for the 5-Trident Exclusive Collection Le Riad experience, which includes a private garden, private pool, concierge service, and champagne at 6pm in a dedicated bar. Both experiences are genuinely delivered here. The resort isn't a good match for travelers who want beach access — Marrakech is inland, full stop, and the pools are the aquatic offering.
The honest friction point is that the Family Oasis rooms (The Ksar), while newest in the property, are the farthest from the main pool, restaurants, and reception. Some guest reviews flag this as a real inconvenience with young children in tow. The family pool is also consistently noted as running cold — warm-water swimmers should know this before booking the family sections. Additionally, the wine list is limited to local Moroccan and French selections; anyone wanting broader variety will be disappointed.
Practically: 426 rooms across the palm grove property, 7–15 km from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) — about 20–30 minutes. Six pools covering all zones. The El Kebir restaurant requires reservations for dinner — book at check-in.
