Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda completed a $35 million renovation in December 2023, replacing its colonial styling with a Taíno indigenous culture aesthetic called 'Alma Taína.' At 527 rooms on Arena Gorda Beach in Punta Cana, it combines the family-accessible amenities of the Grand tier (kids club, water park, family pools) with the service standards and dining quality of the Luxury tier.
