Impeccable Cleanliness

Relaxing Adults-Only Atmosphere
The adults-only concept is highly valued for fostering a serene and peaceful ambiance, particularly around the pool areas, ideal for relaxation without disturbance.
Bed Comfort & Pillows
A recurring concern among guests is the comfort of the mattresses and the perceived lack of adequate pillows in the rooms, impacting sleep quality for some.
Potential Noise Issues
Guests should be aware of possible noise from echoing hallways during early morning cleaning, animated bar areas, and occasional aircraft noise due to the hotel's proximity to the airport.
Breakfast Coffee Quality
Despite the impressive food variety, the machine-made coffee at breakfast is often singled out as an area that could be improved upon for a more satisfying morning beverage.
A la Carte Dining Consistency
While the buffet is strong, feedback from a sister property suggests that the a la carte restaurant experience across the brand might be inconsistent or 'chaotic', indicating potential variability in specialized dining.

The location does a lot of work here. AluaSoul Palma sits directly on Cala Estancia, a soft-sand stretch of Palma Bay with calm, shallow water and none of the crowds that pile up at the resort beaches farther along the coast. The hotel is 2-5 km from Palma de Mallorca Airport — close enough that taxi transfers cost around €9 and take 15 minutes, which matters when you're weighing the tradeoffs of a beachfront room within striking distance of the city center.
This is a compact property: 138 rooms, adults only from 16 and up, renovated in 2020. The building's age (1968, updated 2008 and again in 2020) shows in the layout more than the finishes — the rooms are modern and clean, the hallways have some echo from the era when sound insulation wasn't a priority. Standard doubles run 226 sq ft, the frontal sea view category pushes to 237-258 sq ft. The physical differences between categories are modest; the real upgrade is the My Favorite Club tier, which adds Nespresso, a 52-inch Smart TV, bathrobes, and — most valuably — access to the Vértigo Rooftop Bar and pool in high season.
Vértigo is the property's most distinctive feature. A rooftop pool with panoramic views across Palma Bay and the Mediterranean is rare in this segment, and in high season it's reserved exclusively for MFC guests. That exclusivity is a genuine differentiator for the category. Off-season it opens to all guests, which changes the calculus somewhat, but in July and August the rooftop access alone justifies the upgrade for many guests.
Food reviews split consistently: breakfast is one of the most praised aspects of the hotel — large variety, fresh, well-executed. Terra Restaurant's buffet dinners vary by night; the themed evenings (Asian, Italian, Spanish) are better than the generic rotation. Gastro Kentia, the à la carte venue, focuses on local Mallorcan ingredients — worth using rather than defaulting to the buffet every evening.
Palma city center is 20 minutes by bus or taxi. The Cala Estancia strip has beach bars and restaurants within walking distance, which helps on days you want a change of pace from the all-inclusive format. The proximity to the airport is the one tradeoff: planes are audible, particularly on approach and departure routes. Light sleepers on upper floors facing the water will get the best combination of view and noise management.
