Alua Village Fuerteventura sits on the Jandia Peninsula in Esquinzo, the southern tip of Fuerteventura facing the Atlantic. The location is genuinely remote — the nearest town is Morro Jable, and most exploration requires a car or taxi. The tradeoff is spectacular Atlantic views from a hillside position and proximity to Playa Esquinzo-Butihondo, one of the longest undeveloped beaches on the island. The peninsula's near-constant wind makes it the best watersports area in the Canaries — kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sailing are the main draws for active guests.
The resort's Enyesque restaurant, specializing in Canarian cuisine with a smart dress code, is included once per week for guests staying seven nights or more on the all-inclusive plan. This is a meaningful differentiator — having a genuine a la carte dinner with local produce (goat cheese, mojo sauces, local fish) available as part of the package without surcharge adds real value to longer stays.
The My Favorite Club tier adds substantial perks: private check-in and check-out, dedicated reserved seating at restaurants and pool areas, and access to a private lounge serving complimentary snacks and premium drinks from 10:00–midnight. The upgrade is worth considering for guests who find the main buffet and poolside crowding a friction point.

The outdoor pools are unheated and cold — a significant issue in the Atlantic wind conditions of the Jandia Peninsula, even in summer. The return walk from Playa Esquinzo-Butihondo is steep uphill — a real problem for guests with mobility issues, prams, or anyone after a long beach day.
