What distinguishes Alua Leo from other mid-range all-inclusives in Palma Bay is its dual identity: a beach hotel close enough to the sand that you can hear the waves, yet positioned so that Palma city center is a legitimate afternoon excursion rather than a taxi commitment. Ca'n Pastilla sits at the eastern end of the Playa de Palma strip, about 15 minutes by bus from central Palma and 4km from the airport. The PMI proximity makes this the right choice for guests with tight travel schedules or late-night arrivals.
This property suits families, couples, and groups of friends who want a base for activity rather than pure relaxation. The cycling center — rare in the all-inclusive segment — caters specifically to guests who want to cover Mallorca's coast roads and interior routes. The beach at Can Pastilla is a wide, flat, pale stretch of sand with shallow entry into Palma Bay, genuinely calm and family-friendly. Guests who want a resort to disappear into without leaving the grounds may find Alua Leo's compact, urban-adjacent footprint less satisfying.
The honest limitation: rooms are small at 215 sq ft across all categories. Families with three people will feel squeezed, especially given that the open-plan bathroom in some room types lacks a full door. Quality of individual rooms varies noticeably — some are fresh, others show wear. Check your room on arrival and request a swap if it doesn't match what you booked.
Practically: 280–285 rooms including 9 adapted rooms. Two outdoor pools, both seasonal (late April to early November). Single main buffet restaurant plus two bars. The A2 airport bus stops directly across the street — approximately €5 per person, 7 minutes to the terminal. Parking is available in an underground car park at extra charge. Small dogs under 10kg are welcome.
The resort's best season is May–June and September–October when temperatures are comfortable, prices are lower, and the beach is uncrowded. July–August brings peak pricing and louder animation nights.
