Sitting between two beaches is the specific structural advantage of Alua Gran Camp de Mar. Camp de Mar Beach is on one side; Ses Dones Beach on the other. Both are sandy, both have direct access from the property, and choosing which to visit changes based on crowd levels, wind direction, or simply mood. Very few Mallorcan resorts have this setup — it's worth naming clearly rather than glossing over as 'beachfront location.'
The spa is a genuine point of differentiation for this property class. Four treatment rooms — specifically named rather than left vague — plus an indoor adults-only heated pool with hydrotherapy, a family indoor heated pool, and a Kneipp corridor make the wellness offering more comprehensive than the typical single-massage-cabin setup at comparable Mallorcan all-inclusives. This matters for guests who plan spa visits as part of their stay rather than a one-off afterthought.
The adults-only terrace (The Tropic) with Balinese beds and hot tubs is a genuinely rare feature at this price tier and one of the resort's clearest selling points for couples without children. The caveat: the Balinese beds are limited in number and fill on a first-come basis each morning — book or reserve them immediately on arrival.
Honest limitation: the token/coin system for drinks at some bars — even for all-inclusive guests — generates consistent guest confusion. Ask at check-in exactly how the drinks system works at each bar before you encounter it.
Practical details: Camp de Mar, southwest Mallorca. Rooms range from 269 sq ft (Double) to 431 sq ft (My Favourite Club Suite). Golf de Andratx 18-hole course is 3km away with guest rates. Coastal hiking paths accessible from the property. Palma is about 25km.
