Green & Fair Hotel
The two features that actually differentiate Alua Boccaccio from similar Mallorcan all-inclusives are its location beside Lake Esperanza and its cycling setup. The lakeside setting gives many rooms a quieter, more scenic outlook than the typical beachfront hotel cluster. The cycling program — with dedicated facilities and bike-friendly services — is a genuine draw for guests who want to explore the flat Alcúdia plain and surrounding coastal paths without renting from an external shop.
This is a family resort with predictable family resort trade-offs. The kids' club (Astro Club, ages 4–12) runs twice daily. The children's pool has a waterfall feature and connects directly to the kids' programming area. The beach (Playa de Alcúdia) is 150–200 meters away — close enough to be a daily destination, with the hotel's own beach bar operating on the sand until 5:30pm. Adults who want pool time away from children have a designated adult-only pool, though its capacity is the most common practical complaint: it fills by 10am in peak season.
The dining setup is a single main buffet (Terra Café) with outdoor terrace seating overlooking Lake Esperanza. The terrace view at dinner is the restaurant's best feature — specifically worth requesting. Multiple bars supplement the main food venue. The Gelateria is not included in the all-inclusive rate, which surprises guests who don't know in advance.
Practical details: 4-star property in Port d'Alcúdia, partially renovated in 2018 and 2024. Adults-only pool (kidney-shaped freshwater), children's pool, beach bar at Playa de Alcúdia. Two room types: Double (172 sq ft) and Family (215 sq ft). Lake view rooms are the best available — worth requesting specifically at booking. Bus stop directly outside connects to Alcúdia Old Town, about 5km. Walking to Alcúdia beach strip restaurants is realistic.
Peak season is July–August; early June and September are more comfortable and less crowded.
