Lopesan Hotel Group is pulling off one of the most ambitious resort launches the Caribbean has seen this year: three separate five-star all-inclusive properties, all opening on the same day — May 1 — within a single beachfront complex in Punta Cana.

The trio of resorts — Lopesan Caoba Lagoon, Lopesan Splash Cove, and Lopesan Serenity Bay — collectively add more than 1,000 rooms to the Dominican Republic hotel inventory. Each property targets a different traveler: Caoba Lagoon (552 rooms) is built around cenote-inspired pools and lagoon-style waterways, with a 16,000-square-foot spa featuring 31 treatment rooms. Splash Cove (244 rooms) caters to families with dedicated children pools, a water park, and multi-generational activity programming. Serenity Bay (239 suites) is the adults-only option, offering a more intimate atmosphere in a single modern building.

What makes the concept unusual is the shared campus model. Guests at any of the three properties can access the entire Lopesan Costa Bavaro complex, including its Boulevard — an outdoor walkable district with dining, entertainment, a rum bar, and a bowling alley.

The expansion also includes four new casinos, signaling Lopesan intention to compete directly with the Punta Cana corridor established mega-resorts like Finest Punta Cana and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana.

Lopesan, headquartered in Gran Canaria, Spain, already operates the Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort in the same complex. The three new properties represent its biggest Caribbean bet yet and position Punta Cana for one of its strongest years of resort growth on record.
