Opened in 2021 as the boutique, adults-oriented flagship of the group behind the Hotel Xcaret properties, La Casa de la Playa sits at the luxury ceiling of the Riviera Maya’s all-inclusive market — a region better known for sprawling 500-room resorts than for intimate retreats charging near-$3,000 nightly rates.
