Andaz Turks and Caicos Moves Its Grace Bay Opening Up to April 1, 2027
Hyatt now targets April 1, 2027 for Andaz Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay, two months early, with 59 rooms, 73 residences, Runa Spa and three dining venues.
Andaz Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay now has an opening date of April 1, 2027, according to Hyatt. That is two months earlier than the June 1 date that showed up in Hyatt's booking system earlier this year. The resort sits in the Bight area of Providenciales with direct beach access, and when it opens it will be the only Andaz resort in the Caribbean and a new luxury name in Turks and Caicos.
Why has the Andaz taken so long to open?
Hyatt first announced the project in 2018 with a 2021 target. The date slipped several times before construction formally began in 2023, and Resort Flock reported this spring on plans for a 2026 debut that did not hold. An earlier date is good news, but given that history, treat April 1 as a target until Hyatt opens reservations and publishes rates. It also fills the gap left when the former Andaz Mayakoba in Mexico closed last year.
How big is Andaz Turks and Caicos?
Hyatt's current property information lists 59 hotel rooms and 73 residences, which makes the hotel side small by Grace Bay standards. Layouts run from studios to four bedrooms, with terraces and plunge pools in select units. The residential side was part of the plan from the start, in line with the wave of residence-led resorts around Grace Bay and Long Bay.
- Three pools and cabanas
- Runa Spa, at about 7,000 square feet
- Fitness and yoga facilities, plus tennis and pickleball courts
- Andaz Kids Club for families
Where will guests eat?
Three venues are planned. Tamarà is the signature all-day restaurant, mixing global bistro dishes with Caribbean influences. Palmette combines a café, a bodega and a market. Baie is the poolside restaurant, bar and lounge.
Is Andaz Turks and Caicos all-inclusive?
No all-inclusive plan has been announced, and the resort is positioned as a luxury hotel with residences. Travelers who want everything included on Grace Bay already have Beaches Turks & Caicos for families and Club Med Turkoise for adults only.
What is nearby?
Bight Reef, one of the easiest snorkel spots on Providenciales, is listed at about 0.2 miles from the property, so guests can reach coral from the sand without booking a boat. That short walk is a real advantage for a spring 2027 trip, especially for families with younger swimmers.
