Wyndham Alltra Riviera Nayarit is a conversion — the property was previously operated as a Dreams resort and was rebranded when Wyndham entered the all-inclusive market with the Alltra concept in October 2022. A significant refurbishment in late 2024 covered 159 rooms, the lobby, pool bars, several dining venues, and the air conditioning systems. That renovation matters: it brought a notable portion of the property back to contemporary standard after years under prior ownership.
Nuevo Vallarta (now officially Nuevo Nayarit) is the resort zone north of Puerto Vallarta — calmer and more controlled than Puerto Vallarta's central district, with a long straight beach that runs for kilometers without the dramatic geography of the Banderas Bay coastline. The beach here is one of the better stretches in the Vallarta corridor: wide, white-sand, calm water, no sargassum problem, and suitable for boogie boarding. Twenty minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport makes transfers fast and arrival straightforward.
The property accommodates families well — the Camp Alltra kids club for ages 4-12 is properly set up, and three pools include a family pool. There are also adult-only suite categories (Presidential Suite, certain Club Junior Suites) for travelers who want the family-friendly setting but not the children's pool as their primary amenity. Eight restaurants cover Italian, Pan-Asian, Mediterranean, and Mexican à la carte options alongside the main Ventanas buffet and beachside Cosecha snack bar. The rooftop oSHean Pan-Asian restaurant is the most distinctive dinner option.
