Buffet Taste & Crowds
Some guests find the main buffet food bland, and peak times can lead to long queues and uncleared tables, particularly at the buffet and the single lobby bar.
Kids' Club Focus
The kids' club has been noted as needing a refresh and potentially catering more to Russian-speaking children, which might affect the experience for English-speaking families.
Beach Size
While offering private access, some visitors describe the beachfront area as relatively small, which might impact those seeking expansive beach space.
Guest Behavior Concerns
Some reviews, particularly from Russian guests, highlight issues with the behavior of other local guests, including a disregard for queues and staff remarks being ignored.

Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts brand
Swissôtel Sharm El Sheikh is notable as the first all-inclusive property the Swissôtel brand has operated globally — a brand more typically associated with urban luxury hotels in Zurich, Singapore, and Istanbul. The Naama Bay location on the Red Sea's Gulf of Aqaba gives the property access to one of the world's premier dive destinations: Ras Mohammed National Park and the Strait of Tiran reefs are within day-trip distance, and the Red Sea visibility typically runs 20–30 meters year-round.
The property rebranded to Swissôtel in 2024 following a 2023 cosmetic renovation of rooms, and it operates under an Ultra All-Inclusive framework that covers meals, premium drinks, and most activities. The water park with 13 slides and a wave pool is the family centerpiece. For guests who want a quieter experience, the adults-only wing has its own pool access and exclusive rooftop lounge and restaurant.
The main buffet draws some complaints about blandness and crowding during peak meal periods. The à la carte restaurants are consistently better received — particularly the Indian (Mumbai), Italian (La Rosetta), Brazilian churrasco (Churrasco Brazil), and Asian options. Reservations at these are genuinely necessary, not just advisable.
Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH) is 8 to 11.5 km away — a 10 to 20-minute transfer that's among the shortest of any Egyptian Red Sea resort.
