Secrets Mallorca Villamil stands apart from every other Secrets property for one reason: its architecture. The building dates to 1955 and has a distinctive castle-inspired facade that makes it visually different from any modern resort construction. At 162 rooms, it's also among the smallest properties in the Secrets portfolio — which means shorter walks, fewer crowds at peak hours, and a more contained experience. For guests who've been burned by the scale of Cancun or Riviera Maya mega-resorts, the size here is a genuine advantage.
This is the right choice for couples who want an adults-only Mediterranean all-inclusive in Mallorca with direct beach access. Playa Palmira is a proper sandy beach accessible by a traffic-free promenade from the resort — easy walking, no roads to cross. The beach is large, well-maintained, and one of the calmer swimming beaches on Mallorca's southwest coast. Guests who want to combine resort relaxation with island exploration will find the proximity to Palma (30-35 minutes by car or bus) and Port d'Andratx straightforward.
The complaints worth knowing: dinner quality is inconsistent. Multiple reviewers mention that while breakfast at World Café is excellent and the Sky Bar is a genuine highlight, dinner service in the à la carte restaurants can be slow and the quality doesn't always match the 5-star billing. Lounger management is another recurring issue — chairs get reserved early with towels, and the resort hasn't solved this. Evening entertainment runs late enough to affect balcony quietness for guests in certain rooms. Parking costs €40/day — relevant if you're renting a car to explore the island.
Location: 30-35 minutes by private transfer from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). The Unlimited-Luxury all-inclusive rate covers three meals, most bars, and daytime activities. The Preferred Club infinity pool is separate from the main heated pool and requires an upgrade — non-Preferred Club guests don't access it.
