Sandals Regency La Toc's most recent chapter is a multimillion-dollar renovation running 2022–2025 that added an entire Rondoval Village with circular Butler Sky Villas on the cliff face. The property now sits on 220 acres with 323 rooms across 22 categories — one of the most diverse room inventories in the Sandals portfolio. The Sunset Bluff pool perched on the clifftop is arguably the most dramatically positioned pool at any Sandals property, with 180-degree views across the Caribbean Sea.
The 'Stay at 1, Play at 3' program is genuinely useful here: Sandals Halcyon Beach and Sandals Grande St. Lucian are both accessible by shuttle, adding 27 additional restaurants and multiple beaches to what's available at La Toc. For guests who want variety across a week's stay, this effectively triples the dining options. The trade-off is the hilliness of the La Toc estate itself — the 220 acres involve elevation changes that require shuttle use for guests with mobility concerns, and the shuttle isn't always instantaneous.
The beach at La Toc is a private half-mile crescent cove — generally beautiful and calm, though guests occasionally note larger-than-expected waves that limit water sports on specific days. The scuba diving program is fully included for certified divers; golf at Cap Estate Golf & Country Club is included (transfers and fees, not caddy or club rental).
Practically: the resort is approximately 10 minutes from George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) in Castries — one of the shortest airport transfers at any St. Lucia resort. Hewanorra (UVF) in the south takes considerably longer — confirm which airport your flight uses. The Rondoval Sky Villas' dramatic cliff position means sunrise and sunset views are exceptional but the terrain requires physical mobility to access without shuttle assistance.
