Rixos Sungate has been operating since 2005 in Beldibi, Kemer, on Turkey's Gulf of Antalya, and the resort's unofficial descriptor—'mini town on the beach'—is more accurate than marketing hyperbole. At 1,094 rooms spread across a 720-meter beachfront campus, the property includes a bowling alley, go-kart track, zip-line, cinema, two aquaparks, 12 pools, and somewhere between 7 and 16 à la carte restaurants depending on the season. The most recent renovation was the Marine building and Bloom restaurant in 2023.
The defining booking reason is the Land of Legends theme park access—complimentary shuttle, complimentary admission, available to all guests. Families planning multiple park visits over a week find this resort more cost-effective than alternatives. The resort's size also means children have enough on-site entertainment to fill an entire week without touching the theme park at all.
Who should think twice: guests who want a boutique, personalized experience. At 1,094 rooms, Rixos Sungate operates at a scale where peak-season crowds at restaurants, pools, and the beach are a real consideration. The private 720-meter Blue Flag beach sounds generous, but 1,094 rooms generate significant demand. Guests who walked Rixos Premium Göcek's uncrowded Secret Beach will find this a different universe.
Antalya Airport (AYT) is 46–50 km away, a 42–55 minute drive—one of the longer Turkish resort transfers. Budget for this in planning. The VIP pier and Restaurant Supreme are exclusive to villa guests.
