Rixos Murjana opened in early 2026 as the largest ultra all-inclusive resort in Saudi Arabia—521 rooms and villas on a 600-meter Red Sea beachfront in King Abdullah Economic City. The single biggest draw is the Murjana Waterpark, a 42,000-sqm facility built on-site with 11 slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and a dedicated splash zone for young children. Nothing else in the Kingdom currently matches that combination under one roof.
The resort caters primarily to Saudi families and Gulf visitors who want a full-week resort vacation without leaving the country. That audience shapes everything: the property is alcohol-free, dress codes are conservative, and the layout includes a fully secluded ladies-only pool and beach section. Couples seeking a rowdy bar scene or singles traveling for nightlife will be better served elsewhere. Children aged 4–17 have dedicated clubs (Rixy Kids Club and Teens Club) operating until 9 PM daily.
