Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha operates in Qatar's first hotel to hold 5-star classification, originally built in 1973 and completely redone before reopening under the Rixos brand in 2022. The two-tower structure houses 378 rooms and suites on Ras Abu Aboud Street, giving it both beachfront access and Doha skyline views. Hamad International Airport is 10–12 minutes away.
The All-Inclusive, All-Exclusive concept is the property's stated identity—it markets itself as Qatar's first luxury all-inclusive beach resort. In practice, all-inclusive guests receive access to the Farmhouse buffet, selected set menus at the specialty restaurants, beach and pool access, fitness classes, and kids' club. The specialty restaurants (Mr. Tailor, Rasa, Akte Pier 51) serve all-inclusive guests a selected set menu; à la carte ordering costs extra. This distinction matters: arriving expecting full à la carte access at every restaurant on the package will lead to disappointment.
Mr. Tailor Steakhouse is the flagship dining venue and won Best Steakhouse in Qatar at the FACT Dining Awards 2024. The meats are sourced from the USA, Latin America, Turkey, Australia, and Japan. Rasa covers pan-Indian cuisine (Goan, South Indian coastal) and opens from Tuesday through Sunday. Akte Pier 51, the Aegean seafood and modern Greek concept lounge, hosts a lavish Saturday brunch with shellfish. Farmhouse, the main buffet, won Best Family-Friendly Restaurant in Qatar at the same 2024 FACT awards.
Families are well served: Rixy Kids Club runs edu-tainment programming for ages 3–12, including cooking classes, festival parties, aqua splash, and arts and crafts. Children under the qualifying age stay free. The private beach is white sand on the Arabian Sea waterfront with garden-front cabanas available at extra cost (daily 8am–8pm). The infinity pool overlooks the seafront and is the most photographed element of the property.
