Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah—operating as Rixos Bab Al Bahr at the time of much of its guest review history—sits on the man-made Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, about 60 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The three pyramid-shaped buildings are immediately recognizable and give the 715-room property a visual presence unusual in UAE resort architecture.
The Ultra All-Inclusive concept here is Rixos's most important differentiator: premium branded beverages, all meals across 14–16 venues, entertainment, kids' club, and most activities are genuinely included in the rate—not the limited version of all-inclusive common at many UAE properties where alcohol costs extra. This matters specifically in the UAE market, where all-inclusive often means soft drinks only at other properties.
Lalezar, the Turkish/Ottoman restaurant, has won Ras Al Khaimah's Best Hotel Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards in 2022 and 2023. The mezze platter with roasted aubergine Atom and pomegranate-laced gavurdagi, along with the Turkish pancake (Mucver), are specifically worth ordering. Fishbone for seafood and The Meat Point for steaks round out the premium à la carte tier, with Wagyu and T-bone cuts available at a surcharge.
Note the alcohol age restriction: alcoholic beverages are served to guests 21 years and older (UAE law). The Avitane Spa (also branded Misul Spa) claims to be the largest in Ras Al Khaimah—men's and women's sections each with hammam, sauna, steam room, ice fountain, and private pool.
