Extensive Activities & Academies
The wide range of activities, including renowned sports academies (Chelsea FC, Rafa Nadal), offers engaging experiences for guests of all ages seeking active holidays.
Value Perception
While a luxury experience, some guests find the overall cost, particularly regarding extra charges for many activities and services, impacts the perceived 'value for money'.
Additional Activity Costs
Many specialized academies, crèche services, and water sports incur extra fees, meaning guests should budget beyond the full board rate for a complete experience.
Pre-Booking Essential
Popular restaurants, spa treatments, and childcare services require advance booking, especially during peak seasons, to avoid disappointment.
Full Board vs. All-Inclusive
The resort operates on a Full Board basis; guests should note that not all drinks and premium activities are included in the standard rate, differentiating it from a traditional all-inclusive.

Porto Sani's real differentiator isn't the 148 suites themselves but the Dine Around Programme: a full board plus arrangement that gives access to 26–27 restaurants and multiple bars spread across the entire 1,000-acre Sani Resort. El Puerto restaurant within Porto Sani is associated with Michelin-starred Basque chef Andoni Aduriz — a meaningful distinction in a market where resort dining is usually the weakest component of a luxury stay. This is what you're primarily paying for.
This is a resort for families with babies, toddlers, and children under 10. The childcare infrastructure is among the most developed of any European resort: the Sani Little Explorers Crèche (ages 6 months–4 years, extra charge), the free Melissa Mini Club (ages 4–12), and the Ozone Teen Club (ages 13–17) run in parallel. The 'Babewatch' service offers 30 minutes of complimentary childcare directly on the beach — a practical detail that new parents specifically seek out. Couples looking for a quiet adults-only atmosphere should look at the adult-only pool options at Sani Club or Sani Beach within the same resort complex.
The main legitimate criticism is cost. Porto Sani operates on a full board plus basis, not all-inclusive — the Dine Around Programme covers food and some beverages, but premium drinks, many activities, and all spa treatments are charged separately. The Chelsea FC Football Academy, Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy, and Bear Grylls Survival Academy all carry additional fees. Budget guests who expect everything to be included will be surprised by the final bill.
Practically: 148 suites (48–145 sq meters), Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) approximately 74 km away — 50–90 minutes depending on traffic. The property underwent a €30 million renovation completed in 2020. Adjacent to Sani Marina with shops, additional restaurants, and boat excursions.
